The first game featured a pitcher's duel between Hopf and Manhattan's John Soldinger, who gave up a combined 8 hits. The Jaspers recorded the only run of the game for either team in the second, on an RBI groundout. Hopf struck out 7 batters, while Soldinger struck out 6.

In game-two, the Peacocks threatened to come back after trailing 6-0 for six innings, scoring three runs in the top of the seventh. Manhattan's relief pitcher Matt Jordan walked the first three batters of the inning, and proceeded to walk in Saint Peter's first run of the game, scored by Zack Rawson (RBI- Matt Mancini). After another Jasper pitching change, Mike Scicutella would rip a single through the left side to score Preston Aldridge (6-2). An RBI groundout by Chris Grimes with one out brought home Matt Speckmann, before Brian Schroeder flew out to center field to end the game.

Both Russ Stupienski and Brian Schroeder finished 2-4 to lead Saint Peter's offensively.

The Peacocks will conclude their three-game series against the Jaspers tomorrow at 12pm.
