Kassi Wirth led the Peacocks in their straight set loss to the Siena College Saints this afternoon. Wirth recorded 10 kills on 17 attacks while committing just 1 error en route to a .529 hitting percentage.
With the loss, the Peacocks drop to 1-28, 0-15 MAAC on the season, while the Saints improve to 17-10, 11-4 MAAC.
The Peacocks fell by the scores of 13-25, 23-25, 22-25.
Despite the loss, Saint Peter's finished with their highest attack percentage of the season, .245, recording 33 total kills on 94 attacks. Saint Peter's put on their best hitting performance in the second set, when they hit .357, paced by 5 kills from Behrens.
Both Lauren Behrens (13) and Wirth recorded double-digit kills in the defeat.
Jenny Pliska came away with a team-high 15 digs in the loss while Kristina Baehr dished out 29 assists.
Siena was led by Taylor Akana's 11 kills and Arielle Smith's 5 service aces. Smith served 13 points in the first set to lead the Saints to victory.
Saint Peter's will face off against Niagara on November 3rd for a 2pm match in Niagara Falls, NY.
