Named the MAAC's Men's Golfer of the Month earlier Wednesday morning, Garrant, who played in all four rounds possible during a month that featured two different tournaments, was statistically the top golfer on a team that took a tournament title and placed in the top-five at another. The Poughkeepsie, New York, native averaged a team-low 70.50 strokes per round for the month on the way to winning the Monmouth Fall Invitational's medalist honor. His two-under 69 in the round round at that tournament was tied for the second-lowest par score for the month; he also shot two-under 68 in the third round of The Doc Grimmler to earn a 17th-place finish at the first tournament of the season. In total, three of Garrant's four rounds played were either at or under par for the month of September.
