Jordan Jowers earned honorable mention recognition for Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Male Student-Athlete of the Year, A rising junior on the men's soccer program, Jowers was nominated along with women's soccer player Victoria Scarratt as the Saint Peter's Student-Athletes of the Year for their work in the classroom and on their respective field of play. Jowers earns honorable mention accolades for the second straight season. The duo was also tabbed as the Saint Peter's July Student-Athletes of the Month.
Jowers continued his reign as the top offensive threat for the Saint Peter's men's soccer team during his sophomore season, en route to an All-MAAC First Team honor as a midfielder. The 5-11 Middlesbrough, England native led the Peacocks this season with three game-winning goals (T2nd in MAAC), 57 shots (1st in MAAC), 3.17 shots per game (2nd in MAAC), and 23 shots on goal. Jowers ranked tied for 7th in the conference with 15 points and was tied for 9th in points per game. He tied for 3rd in goals with seven tallies and tied for 5th in goals per game. Jowers was also one of just three MAAC players to be named to the 2018 Division I Men's Soccer All-ECAC First Team. Behind his play, the Peacocks finished the regular season in sixth place, earning a MAAC playoff berth for the first time since 2010. In Jowers' first season as a Peacock in 2017, he was named to the All-MAAC Second and Rookie teams. As a freshman, he ranked amongst the MAAC leaders with 50 shots (6th), 3.12 shots per game (2nd), 15 points (T8th), 0.94 points per game (7th), 7 goals (T7th), and 0.44 goals per game (6th). With his three career, All-MAAC honors, Jowers became the first Peacock since 2016 to be named a three-time all-conference player.
Academically, Jowers holds over a 3.4 GPA while majoring in Business Administration and Management. He has been selected to the MAAC All-Academic Team once and has two selections to the MAAC Academic Honor Roll.
