Junior forward Zoe Pero has made a tremendous impact on the floor for the Peacocks this season. In December, Pero averaged 29.0 minutes per game, with an average of 15.6 points and 7.2 rebounds. She earned a double double against Saint Francis Brooklyn, scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Pero helped lead the team to a win in their final non-conference game against Fairleigh Dickinson with a career high 26 points, winning 75-58. She went 12-17 from the field while also grabbing six rebounds on the night.
Through non-conference play, Pero is averaging 14.9 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, leading the Peacocks in both categories. She is playing 26.8 minutes a game for the Peacocks, and has started in seven out of eleven games. Pero is shooting .470 from the field and .816 from the free throw line.
