Laws has started every game this season for the Peacocks at forward. He leads the Peacocks in points (9), goals (4), shots on goal (9), shots on goal percentage (0.600) and is tied for first with one game winning goal. Laws also ranks second for shot percentage (0.267) and is tied for second for assists (2).

Laws’ game winner came against Central Connecticut State in game one of the Peter Baldwin Memorial Classic in Vermont. After the Peacocks tied the game up at 1 apiece, Laws received a feed from Tom Coulson on a breakaway to net the winner. He had a season high two goals against St. Francis Brooklyn en route to a 4-1 Saint Peter’s victory.

Laws was selected as the Pepsi MAAC Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of September 19. He was also named to the Peter Baldwin Memorial Classic All-Tournament Team.

Academically, Laws boasts a 3.6 grade point average, which is one of the highest GPAs on his team, while majoring in business management.
