This summer, senior golfer Jose Cardona flexed his skills in the business world, interning with KPMG LLP as an audit intern in the Financial Service area. As an Audit intern, Cardona spent most of the days in the clients’ headquarters having the opportunity to go to and work with clients such as BMW Financial Services, Valley National Bank, Columbia Bank, and Northfield Bank.
In addition, Cardona was able to attend several trainings throughout the internship, including the firm’s main training program in Orlando, Florida, where he met interns from different KPMG offices all around the country. Cardona was able to work closely with partners in the firm and KPMG professionals. Cardona wrapped up the internship with a job offer that will be available for him upon his graduation from Saint Peter’s in May 2019.
Cardona was selected to the MAAC All-Academic team in Spring 2017 and 2018.
